Hell's Antenna
This is a portrait of an American Golem, a monstrosity based on human emotions and reflecting human paranoia.
The spirit of vengeance as it relates to terror is explored, and the storytelling is satisfying.
While "Pumpkinhead" (1988) is not as sophisticated as Clive Barker's eerie "Hellraiser" (1987) in its presentation of perception-disintegration themes, it certainly does a good job in celebrating 'fear fountainheads.'
