One of the greatest films ever made, independent of genre

Can't be touched.

Also, more than half of imdb message board posters can't tell a movie from their *beep*

This is defiantly in my top 10 favorite films of all time list.

Yes, this is the first time I watched the film in a while and I forgot how creepy and great the atmosphere was. The monster effects look wonderful and whoever says they don't like movies made before the '90s because "the effects were fake looking" need to watch this film. But even greater than the effects were the story and acting. You could truly feel that Lance Henriksen really was a person who just lost the thing he cared about the most and his performance was so convincing. Haggis is a brilliant character as well. This movie is very underrated.

Burn, witch! Burn, witch! Burn! Burn! Burn!

If you liked it, great. One of the greatest films ever made? Sorry; not even close. Let's be real. Unless you've only seen a handful of films in your life.
