Tom Skerrit's acting

Tom Skerrit's acting was horrible! In some of the scenes where he should've been terrified his expression was like he was bored. It just made a horrible movie much worse. Same with the Doctor but in his case I suspect the direction may have had something to do with it.

I was just watching it and he was the only natural actor in the whole movie, thats probably why it seemed so off. Everyone else was incredibly cheesy.
Also this was probably the goofiest movie he had ever been in at that point.

Yup. Everyone's acting in this film aside from the little girl's, was horrible. They saw a demon pop out of a puddle and Carol-Anne scream from inside of it, and acted like it was just another Tuesday. Their "terror" expressions were priceless.

"Can I please speak to someone who didn't come to this country on a floating door?!"

I thought both he and Nancy Allen were both horrible in this.
I guess since the movie was just as bad, it couldn't of been helped.
