Fab Film!

I've always loved this film - so cosy n sweet. It's a proper feel-good, rites of passage 80s flick! Mystic looks lovely - the sea, houses, etc.

Julia Roberts also looked so much prettier back then!

I love the film as well. It is a very cute 80's coming of age flick. Wish I could try some of that pizza as well!

I agree about Julia. I thought she was looking so gaunt (especially in the face) these days. Then I re-watched this movie and realized it was true. She wasn't fat back then, but I bet she thought she was. She had curves and looked BEAUTIFUL! It's a shame she's a scrawny thing now. Maybe the twins will help her fill out more!

Dude aint that the truth. I live in Mystic and one day me and my sis went into Mystic Pizza and I ordered clam chowder(which was freakin awesome) and she got ice-cream (Mystic Drawbridge Ice-Cream is like a block away) instead of getting pizza, cause frankly the many of the locals don't like the pizza.

Count me in, I've been a Mystic resident all my life and I've always steered the tourists AWAY from Mystic Pizza. The movie's good and all, but the pizza is an embarassment.

I was in Mystic around 1990 and saw the outside of Mystic Pizza but didn't get to go in. I have to eat there someday just to try it, whether the pizza is actually good or not! I've tried the frozen Mystic Pizza they sell at the supermarket, but didn't think that was very good.

I've always loved this film too. "Cozy & Sweet" is the best way to describe it. I don't care what anyone says, the clothes and hair of the 80s ruled! :)
