Dont you think that Daisy's boyfriend took it a little lightly that she pretty much destroyed his convrtible Porshe by dumping all the fish in it- I found it a little unbelivable that he was made for about oh- 10 seconds-

I agree -- that scene always bothers me. Unlikely that the black sheep son could have handled the finances of a ruined Porshe with his uptight family . . .
Not just that he took it so lightly, but that she did it at all. Ruined someone else's car, and spoiled someone else's haul. I think it makes Julia Roberts' character seem pretty disturbed.
And then, just when you are feeling all creeped out, thee preppy sister's weird "Daisy . . . hi" line is creepy - both the line and the way she delivers it.
I pretty much hate the whole scene!
