What is Daisy saying?

Can anyone clarify a line in the movie for me? I've watched it a hundred times and I can't make it out.
In the beginning, when Daisy comes out back and says that her shoes are killing her, she looks at Manny the dishwasher and says something that sounds like "horns a 20 can you believe that?"
Now I know this is not what she is saying, but I can't make out the actual words!
Just wondering if anyone understood it better than me.

Maybe she's saying "Corns at 20, can you believe that?" That would make more sense than "Horns a 20"... corns hurt your feet.

Maybe that's it! Thanks! And ironically, she was 20 when she filmed the movie.

just checked the subtitles. They say: Corns at 20. Can you believe it?

reply

Thanks! Silly me, I didn't think to do that.

My DVD doesn't have english subtitles. Oh well!

I've been looking thru the boards here hoping to see a question about this.

I watch every movie with subtitles, so I knew Daisy said, "...corns...", but I cannot figure out why everyone in the kitchen got so upset.

Is there some sort of sexual reference I'm missing? Cause from Kat, Leona, etc's reactions to Daisy's statement , that's what it seems like.

I can't think what else it could possibly be that offended them, unless it was because she was talking about her feet in the kitchen. But I know Daisy's character is supposed to be a sort of "slut", so I don't know...

Thanks in advance.

She's told to watch her language b/c at first she said something like, "J**** *beep* these shoes are killing me!"
