Julia Roberts and Lily Taylor were 21 when they played Daisy and Jojo
Why is that hard to believe? They pretty much look their ages onscreen.

Um no, Julia TURNED 21 the year when this movie came out. Her bd is in October (so late in the year), and it generally takes about a year before a film comes out. (Give or take.) Julia was 20 at the oldest, maybe 19 when it was actually filmed. Girl did always look older. I haven't looked up the other girls' ages, but they then were probably also slightly younger when one properly considers birth months and delays for film debuts.
Lili played a senior in hs in 1996's "Girls Town," so it is probably most amazing to me that eight years later, she could realistically play a teen.
Agree with the OP. Kat looked way older than the other two. 17? LOL she looked at least 10 years older.
I'ma be real right now. They all looked older than their true ages.
