anyone notice some similarities is script & scenes to Pretty Woman?

1. The part where Charlie comes to Daisy's house the first time and she stands real close to him and says "Sit, I'll be right with you" There is a similar scene in Pretty Woman when she & R.Gere stand up when the doorbell rings, real close like this scene and she says, "Take a load off" Also she pushes him into a chair at one point I think like she does Charlie.

2. She talks to him about being a bum and she has nothing against bums. The intimate talk scene in bed in Pretty Woman she talks about being a "bum magnet" and followed a bum to L.A.

3. Biggest one... in both movies she has a line of "Don't do it again." Mystic Pizza to Charlie about lying and in Pretty Woman to Richard Gere about him hurting her.

Did Julia add those touches or did the screenwriters love Mystic Pizza and put the similarities in? Any opinions?

Never really put them together until now. Pretend that Daisy leaves Mystic Connecticut and moves to LA and becomes a hooker. HA HA. Pretty Woman is the sequel to Mystic Pizza. Kind of funny, but when you think of the character of Daisy it doesn’t seem that far fetched. Remember when her mother says she worried about her, well this is why! She was worried she was going to end up a hooker on Hollywood Boulevard

Me and my mate made a similar connection, since this was released before Pretty Woman. Interesting too that in the scene where Kat and Daisy are arguing when Kat has not turned up for her shift, she actually says to Daisy 'you should take payments for your services, it would be more honest!'
