I'm having a hard time working this out - why would someone watch a movie then go rushing to the Net a few hours later to tell the world he hadn't enjoyed it? Why do we need to know this? If you don't like something on TV, just switch channels!
First, I liked
Mystic Pizza--gave it an 8/10.
But, to answer your question, I look up EVERY movie I watch and read a bit about it, look at the trivia, some of the actors' and crew's filmographies, the board, etc., on IMDb after I watch something. Lately, I've also been trying to post at least one message board comment about every film I see (although there are times--like the last couple weeks, where I got lazy about that).
I certainly do not like EVERY movie I see. Re "switching channels", I also pretty much ONLY watch movies from DVDs (mostly rentals from Netflix), and I almost never bail on a film before the ending. Even if I'm hating a film, I'll give it a chance until the end--often enough I end up liking something better by the end than I would have had I bailed on it early on (and sometimes the opposite happens, too). I like the vast majority of films I see, by the way, but there are certainly enough I dislike, and even some I've hated and given a 1/10 to.
The notion that you'd only look up more information about something if you like it is an odd one.
