I watched this movie a couple of years ago for the first time and really enjoyed it.So when I saw it my video store I had to rent it again.As I was watching I realized that the fashion in this movie from the eighties is exactly what most of the young girls are wearing now.My friend and I laughed for awhile about it.
shareI saw this movie when it was first released in the movie theaters in 1988. My friend and I got a kick out of how, towards the end of the movie, Daisy and Kat talk about how, "...next Thursday's Thanksgiving." A slight murmur bubbled through the audience because, we were in the theater on the Friday before Thanksgiving, so next Thursday was Thanksgiving!
I still think Daisy's black and white dress, with the big white bow on the front, is a beautiful cocktail dress!

shareso true. I was born in 1980 and now I see all these little junior high and high school girls wearing 80's fashion. My older sister and I would joke around and say things like "we're old school! We wore these clothes first!" and other stupid comments to each other. Just the other day, I saw a 10-11 year old girl wearing a Fraggle Rock shirt!
