That little girl Phoebe is a spoiled little brat

Everytime I watch this movie, I hate how all the adults just indulge the little girl Kat sits. All she ever does is demand things like READ! or I WANNA GO HOME! and everyone always just smiles and says yes to her. In one part the father even jokes and says "yes, master!" This behavior is just raising her to be a bossy, demanding, spoiled brat. People think its cute until she grows up and still treats people that way. I've seen it happen time and time again. How about teaching her how to ask by saying please and having her learn how to be grateful and thanking people when they do things for her?

I disagree. She was just a normal little girl but probably wasn't that great an actor. She was quite sweet at times. Anyway, a baby sitter isn't going to discipline the girl when the father is around.

Well, her dad is a cheating douchebag hitting on her babysitter, and her mom takes off for London without her when the going gets tough. Hard to expect her to be disciplined and well-behaved!

OMG I think the same thing every time I watch this! I watch kids and I swear it drives me nuts when parents sit there and let their kids act like that to grown ups. The second she said "READ!" I would have sent her butt to her room.... You don't speak to grown ups like that...
