I thought it was amusing how the music to the national anthem of the country was a copy of O Tannenbaum (O Christmas Tree).
And it's even funnier how (I think) no one including Jack points this out.
I guess the people in that fictional land loved Christmas.

It also happens to be the melody for the state anthem "Maryland, My Maryland" -alluded to in the chorus here: 'Parador, My Parador'.
My guess is that it even predates the Tannenbaum song: the tune is so simple and sweet that I can well believe it's centuries old.
Pretty close to O Canada as well.
