Just like Peter Sellers in After the Fox

This movie is so underrated, it's ridiculous. What a great job of double impersonation Dreyfuss does, just like older Peter Sellers double impersonations that were delivered with the same ludicrously intense insanity as here. Raul Julia was hilarious too (I loved that blond hair to deLatinize him). I mean, even Jonothan Winters had a hilarious cameo interacting with Drefuss. This movie was every bit as funny as Peter Sellers and similar in some ways to After the Fox (Caccia alla volpe) (1966) which was set in Italy instead of Parador, but which had a very similar mockery of the local language.
I think Richard Drefuss is just wonderfully successful with his comedy in this tour-de-force which is so well done it can measure up to a pro such as Peter Sellers.
