Does anyone know whether or not I am correct that the love scene in Monkey Shines was edited from the original film? I have scene the movie when it first appeared on pay tv back in 1989 and remember vividly the love scene as appearing more explicit than what I noticed on the DVD release!? I am losing my mind over this, I'd appreciate any feedback regarding the DVD version, thanks.

I have the original copy of the VHS, but never saw it on TV or in theatres... Sorry.

Nicky, i thought the exact-same thing. Unfortunately, i have since misplaced the vhs tape that was recorded off of tv yeaaaaars ago (from Showtime or HBO or something like that.)

Edit: I just noticed this topic is 2 years old LOL, sorry.
