Boo deserved academy award

I found this to be a very touching movie. I can understand why some people don't like it, some people find it funny, a lot of people will never be able to open themselves to how deep and emotional this film actually gets, if you can look past the problems with the acting, script and pacing.
Maybe you need to be somewhat of an animal lover and "Darwinist" to understand. Boo, who plays Ella, the "monkey", completely stole the show. She loved Allan so much that she would do anything to protect him and make him happy. A little monkey but with increasingly big human emotions. The way it all ends, while I can understand why people find it funny and probably watch it over and over again rolling on the floor in fits of laughter, to me was really heart breaking, because it was just about the only way that it could possibly end.

Just when she thought everything was going to be okay... poor little Ella. :'(
