Poor Ella *spoilers*
I don't really believe Ella was evil.
I think she loved that guy and when she killed those people, she was thinking clearly of him and him only.
Yeah, but He was part of Ella's brain. Ella was killing for him in a way because he thougth badly about those people and the experiment went haywire on her that she sensed his negativity on people. Also, she snapped after the last shot and
that's when she transformed from a cute loving animal to a fierce killer.
That monkey was adorable though. You got to remember that it's only fiction.
Yes she was adorable, and I have to admit I dont really like monkeys.
shareShe was precious... Her little facial expressions were priceless... I did feel bad for her, especially when Geoffrey took her away... She looked back in the door as if to say why aren't you helping me... I almost died when he was talking the nurse about what "we" want and she said, "WHO is WE?" And he - with pride - screamed, "ME AND ELLA!!!" Too funny... It was so cute how much he loved her too... Really, in her mind, she was protecting HER man...

The only way for her to stop was to put her out of her misery even though he loved her too he knew it was the only way out because she would still continue killing more innocent people. This was like a monkey version of Fatal Attraction. She was jealous of the girl too. I felt bad for Ella too, but the killer instinct mode in her took over her completely.

I thought it would be cool to have one, too. Until I looked into what it's really like to have one.
They need tons of attention, get depressed, get lonely, get into everything, some throw poo and crap everywhere. If you had tons of time to work with it, it might be ok. Otherwise, it's not like it looks in the movies.
