Do only women hallucinate, when affected by the venom?
We know that Eve (Oxenberg) hallucinated, when she touched the venom, and Mary (Davis) hallucinated, when she was bitten. And while we do not know what happened to Erny (Brookes) when he was bitten, we know that Angus (Capaldi) and Kevin (Pitt) did not hallucinate, when they were bitten.
So, do only women hallucinate, when affected by the venom?
They probably do, we just never see it. D'Ampton (Grant) hallucinates WITHOUT venom. I think the white worm had powers beyond just venom, or no venom...?

That is an interesting idea. Of course, D'Ampton's hallucination proved to be the white worm's undoing, but, when in a film, has the villain been not so arrogant, that he has not told the hero, his own complete plan of action.
