No, it is just not you. The car does have three wipers on it. I was going to use this as one of my future pieces of trivia about the film, but now that you know about it, I'll have to find another piece of trivia to use.
It is a Jaguar XKE or Jag XKE. The same type of car that Jan and Dean sing about in their song "Deadman's Curve." It was chosen for the car for the serpent lady, because of the car's serpentine-like shape. That style of Jag is no longer in production. I'll have to check my records and see, when it ceased production.
The Jag XKE has been out of production for 33 years. Jaguar began production of that model of car in 1961 and ceased production in 1973. So, if the film takes place in 1988, the car--even by then--was something of a classic.
