John Dampton

So when was it that the mythical dampton ancestor slew the Wyrm?

Perhaps Bram Stoker's novel fetures a similar character with a date?

Perhaps some major art fiends can place the style of the painting?

Perhaps the Lambton Worm Myth has some dates attached to it?

it's seems like a medieval legend.
And about the painting in Hughie Grant's bedroom it is an obvious copy of Saint George and he Dragon by Paolo Ucello, beginning of the 16th century, so Renaissance style.
Well this lokks like it has nothing to do with the roman temple story. But is quite linked to what Hughie says at the beginning of the film, at his "worm slaughtering" party.
