WTF is Angus refering to w/ this? He mentions it to Mary a couple of times. The context seems to be her acting childish. Seems like he's referencing something specific. Not to mention, it sounds a tad insensitive since her parents are AWOL! Although I am American, I grew up in England & have never heard this term in my life.

I guess that is what I get for being an American, but Little Korean is correct, "Happy Families" is a British card game. But, like alot of the lines in the film, I think "Happy Families" has two meanings. Angus (Capaldi) is not only talking about the card game, but also about the Trent Family, which is no longer so happy, now that the parents have vanished.
