Listen, this is a cool frickin movie. I saw this as a kid and thought it was great and recently bought the dvd and really enjoyed it. This movie has alot of great humor and Johnny Walker is real. I still see guys like him every day. The boots and the letterman jacket! He is the man and he does the right thing at the end. Entertaining movie!!!
shareI know what you mean, I watched it when it was first released and it was pretty wild at the time. It reminded me quiet a bit of the 'recruitment process' albiet a little exaggerated ;-) You can trust me on that one... I had several colleges attempting to recruit me, Duke, Kansas State, Kansas Uni, OSU, etc. and none of them were THAT liberal!
I just watched it again on Comedy Central and talk about 'bringing back some memories'! And yea you're right, they [myself included] did walk around in boot, jeans, and a letterman's jacket ;-)
