Just because you don't laugh at a poorly made, wretchedly scripted, virtually incoherent '80's movie does not mean you have no sense of humor. Humor, in case you don't know it, is subjective by its very nature.

I love how the morons who like this movie defend it by saying stuff like "So it's not Shakespeare - it's just supposed to make you laugh - don't take it too seriously." Totally missing the point, which is that noone cares whether this movie has a message or has any intellectual sophistication, they only care whether it's actually funny. And it isn't the least bit funny - It's insipid, annoying and idiotic. It sucks ass. A comedy doesn't have to be deep to be good - it just needs to be funny, which this complete piece of *beep* is NOT.

personally I think the film sucked horribly though it had the potential to be a great film like other teen films like Pretty in Pink etc..
The only reason I have this film in my collection is because my Mother was in it.

Anyone who thinks this film is a "good" film must have very, VERY poor taste. Objectively speaking.
