Do you think they were convicted?
At the end when Bruce Campbell turned up with his buddy and arrested Jennifer and Craig, do you think they were found guilty?
I mean let's face it, other than the fact that they were on scene of the crime when the police arrived and one guy saying; "It was them", there was no real evidence. Can the witness testimony of one man convict them, especially when their side of the story is that the one guy claiming it was them was himself the murderer?
You'd think that it was a female who made the call, and there was only female present would help convince bring some doubt towards their guilt. Also, were their finger prints on every single one of the murder weapons? It's possible of Jennifer, because she worked there and all used the same equipment. But even in that case, everybody's fingerprints would be on everything. Hardly conclusive proof of her guilt.
I'm not sure that even if the cops didn't believe their story, they'd be convicted in the end.
