Is the UK dvd region 2? Is it PAL?

I bought a dvd from some dude on ebay and it was totally bogus!

It was a bootleg. It had no menus, you put it in your dvd player and the movie starts! And every 5 minutes or so it freezes.

Help?...

Not always. Region 2 Sex and the City was NTSC.

So less of the dumb twat remarks mate....

I too have some region 2 dvds that are not PAL, "They Live" & "Dr. Terror's House Of Horrors". Right on cheeky.

I just got the UK release (Hard Gore) and it's PAL, Region 0.
