i just recently saw the new musical version & thought it was excellent, but since i am a huge fan of Water's Serial Mom, which also stars Ricki Lake, i'm wondering if this movie is worth the watch.

I watched this version today as it's on the movie channel.
I love the new one better.
The original version is awful.
