Is it just me....
or did anyone else notice that Rosanna Arquette's characater was a total nutter. The film completley glossed over her crazy ways...
shareNo not just you. I think so too. But all could be forgiven if in the end she did express some credible feeling (this is more the director's fault than Arquette's fault) . Not just screamed and cried like that. She must have finally realized that Jacques belonged to the ocean. She should have been numb, speechless, desperate, more than desperate . Romantically, she was saying farewell to her love. But in fact she was seeing the death of him. He chose to go into the dark forever... Must be horrifying for her no matter how natural for Jacques.
