i feel like there is only so much quality you can really expect with an Ernest movie, but this is a genuinely enjoyable Christmas movie with a lot of laughs and heart to it and the other Ernest movies just don't have. It also feels like the production quality is better than the others.

shareI liked Ernest Goes to Jail better but this one is so much better than Ernest Scared Stupid and the mostly unfunny direct to video Ernest movies.
shareI haven't seen Goes to Jail, but I do agree it's better than Scared Stupid. Scared Stupid has it's moments, but it feels a bit too childish and like a Disney Channel movie. Saves Christmas is timeless.
shareGoes to Jail is the classic good vs evil versions of Ernest kind of thing. It's really stupid, in a good way and really funny. But as far as feel good and heart warming Saves Christmas is better.
