One of my all-time favorites

How can you not love this movie?

reply

Seriously. Especially those sly looks out of Michael Caine.

I don't know what it is about this movie, but I just absolutely love it! There's just something about it...

HERE HERE! I used to work as a tour guide in Germany--I took US military folks and their families on buses to Amsterdam and London. This was in the early 90s when the super duper nice buses has VCRs on 'em. Well they were PAL system and not the American NTSC, so my video choices were severely limited. I found a couple tapes in London and one of them was DRS.

I played that freakin' movie twice a trip, and EACH

TIME IT JUST KEPT GETTING

BETTER AND BETTER!

This is one of my top 10 all-time favorite films. And like the other folks, I can't really explain why. From MonkeyBoy to slicked back hair to the super twisty ending, I want to marry this movie and have little Dirty Rotten Scoundrel babies. Hee hee hee!

Now what's this about a musical? I don't think it ever made it to London, or I'd have flown over and seen it ASAP.

I agree! This is a great film and I've watched it several times. I only like about half of Steve Martins films (a bit of an over actor in my opinion) but in this one he and Michael Caine are so good together. Very funny stuff.

Such an amazing film indeed,i have seen it more than 5 times and i never get bored of it.

Amazing landscapes (that villa is probably one of the best estates in the world if you ask me),Michael Caine at his finest and even Steve Martin who i dont much like was great in his role.Add a twisted plot with some hilarious lines and scenes and you got a definite winner.

Too bad they dont make good and original comedies like this one in our days.

saw this in comedy central and i love it will buy this movie on DVD.

This movie was a very pleasant surprise for me...on paper, Steve Martin and Michael Caine playing opposite each other didn't make sense to me, but they worked so amazingly well together in this movie. Fresh and entertaining from start to finish.

mine TOO

I too love this film.

It is sooooo under-rated. Specially as a Steve Martin movie.

People are nuts over "Roxanne" (which I consider over-rated) but virtually ignore what a gem DRS is! Go figure............
