Freddy's House

I personally went down there to investigate and I found that the most likely place would be St-Jean-Cap-Ferrat, which is the piece of land that extends out from the coast between Villfranche and Beaulieu. It is an amazing area in terms of its climate and beauty. All the big houses there have high gates which prevent you from seeing them well, so I could not look for the actual house, but I would have to say that this is the most likey area for Freddy's actual house.

I guess you mean Lawrences' villa. It is indeed beautiful. I think the location information given on this website is incorrect.-They claim it is the Musee de Rothschild villa which is incorrect (looks completely different). I think one or two scenes were filmed in the above (when he is showing the garden to Freddy which was restored by lady emmersons (!!) brooch). However, the main villa is still A mystery (although would love to rent it)


Can anyonw throw any light on this?
