I was curious how many fans of this film have seen the film that DIRTY ROTTEN SCOUNDRELS is a remake of...BEDTIME STORY with Marlon Brando, David Niven, and Shirley Jones?

Sorry for the very late reply, but I have seen the original to answer your question. I wonder why no-one else did, though? I went through the board looking for some reference to the original and thought it would be a big topic.

I saw it years ago, and while the same, the actors give it a different slant. Both are equally enjoyable.

I have seen the original. I have and like both of them. The ending of DRS is better in my opinion.

Yes, that ending almost demands a sequel, doesn't it?

Yes you are right, it would have to have the same production values. All the leads are still around, so it all depends on the script as you say.

Maybe we should contact Michael Caine, Glenn Headly and Steve Martin and suggest they find a producer?
