I just viewed Dangerous Liaisons (8/20/08)on DVD and was disappointed in the destruction scene. I saw the movie many years ago in the theater and recall that the destruction scene went on for many minutes. Has the scene been cut down in the DVD version?
shareThe version I have on VHS from a while back, the scene doesn't last very long. But the first time I watched it, it seemed to, as I'm unsure if I have seen anything like it....

No, it's the same scene. You think it lasts longer than it does, because it's SUCH an emotionally powerful scene. It hits you right between the eyes and stays with you.
