Malkovich Was Worse Than Horrible
You would have to be a devoted fan to appreciate that performance. Can't blame him entirely - not for all that damn awful dialogue he had to spew out by the bucketful.

shareReally? I thought he spewed many clever witticisms here and there. And I am not a devoted fan. Do tell what you deemed "awful dialogue" in this.

Almost everything.
Do tell what you deemed 'clever witticisms' in this.

Almost everything. Heres one most fitting to you:
"One does not applaud the tenor for clearing his throat."
In other words, your post is the normal recreation of ignoble and mundane criticisms. Neither lacking in foolishness or fulfilling in satiation. For such a devout fan of Brokeback Mountain it seems, I wouldn't expect you to know what clever dialogue would be.
P.S: You are too much for me Ennis, you sonofawhoreson bitch! I wish I knew how to quit you.

What should I do with that? Laugh? Is it important? Does it mean anything?

Your post is what I would expect from a pretentious twat.
FYI: I hate Brokeback Mountain.
I see linguistics isn't your strength. Never did I hear such a puerile epithet since I dropped a critical post on the American History X board. I think you'll find a greater appreciation to the dialogue in this films adaptation: Cruel Intentions.

FWIW it was the Glenn Close character who said that line. It's a very good line although I consider it a stretch to apply its meaning to OP as has been attempted here.
Anyway I like John Malkovich a lot. More than anything, I just love to see him interviewed on talk shows - he is one entertainingly bizarre dude - but I like his acting too.
This was far from my favorite of his roles but I appreciated the performance.
funny thread(: malkovich and his character is pure brilliance in this movie. he`s got the whole show. well, Glenn Close got some of it too..
