It's a bit campy, isn't it?

I just watched this for the first time and was really rather surprised by the campiness of the whole affair. The little faces Glenn Close made (the evil smiles), plus the ways in which the characters interacted with each other. It wasn't all that realistic. I don't know why, but it wasn't really what I was expecting.

Not to say that I didn't enjoy it. I did. I had a good time watching it, but I wasn't amazed or anywhere near. Then again, I was slightly distracted throughout...

Only to satisfy my curiosity, Why exactly were you distracted throughout?

Hahahaha, I was rereading through my old posts and came across this. It's nothing nearly as fun as it sounds. I was distracted because the guy I was big-time crushing on at the time had just come to my house and picked up my little brother instead of me, while my little brother was supposed to be grounded, but my parents were away. Then my old summer fling rolled into town and announced he was coming over. And my parents kept calling.

I was distracted.
