I just want opinions of the ladies (and gents if you are that way inclined) as to whether John gets you going in this movie? My wife finds Malkovich incredibly sexy at the worst of times, so when it comes to this movie she's quite taken by his performance as you'd imagine! Is she alone here, or does he do it for you?

He seems quite charismatic and proves an ugly guy (lets face it) who knows how to carry himself with self confidence can seduce any woman.
He is perfectly wicked, sexy, I also love his voice. He looked great in the finery of France. Apparently Michelle Pfeiffer was taken in by him. They fell in love during the making of this movie. Each had been married to others at the time the filming started, for 8 years Malkovich was married to sublime actress Glenn Headly. I don't recall who Michelle was married to at the time but her marriage was also 8 years old. The affair that Michelle and Malkovich had during the filming of this fantastic film finished the marriages of both. Yet, about a year or so later they married...two completely different people and to my knowledge never renewed their infidelity. I believe they are still married to their respective mates.
