Cell Block was a terrible looking club

I know people can fall for trendy places, but I just don't see it with Cell Block. That joint was poorly designed, it was all staircases and balconies. It wouldn't pass any safety codes being designed that way, knowing all the balconies and stairs would be constantly packed with bodies.

I think it was a neat theme, but poorly executed.

My wife and I were laughing about that last night. Who the hell would find that club (bathed in all blue lighting) a great place to go, not to mention all the patrons jonesing for some homespun poetry.

You’d think the yuppie poet at least would be really good but he was awful.

It’s based on Powertools, a very hip DTAL club in the 80s.
A few films was shot there.
