Tom's hair makes this movie a comedy event all on its own

I sat around the mechanic's lounge waiting for my car to get repaired when this movie came on that I've rarely seen since I saw it in the theater when I was 16. Other things that make me laugh are....

Tom (in his early days) getting angry. I just never bought it.
Tom as a total man whore
Tom trying to convince the audience he wanted success when we all know what he really wanted....a sugar momma!

it was good hair for the 80's although towards the end he was beginning to spout a mullet

There was a lot changes in Tom Cruise's hairdo as many scenes were re-shot due to reversals in the script.

the mechanic's lounge? cool name for a bar. and you can get your car fixed to while watching cool movies like this? forget about cocktails & dreams. that's a winning concept!

I was watching Macgyver the other day and he was at a biker bar called 'the handle bar'- pretty cool!
