An essential condiment you'd expect to find behind every bar, along with Tabasco sauce etc for Bloody Marys and other variations. It's a crucial ingredient. Without it you'd be one lousy establishment. A large size bottle is just economical; we used to run out more frequently than you'd imagine and had to borrow from back of house. It was no fun getting that short straw and dealing with the angry chefs.

cool stuff. thanks.
🎍Season's greetings!🎅🌲
That is if you patronize or work at a bar which offers quality Bloody Marys. Even with the cocktail revolution happening now, most of the bars in my area employ bartenders who are going to roll their eyes if you order anything other than a screwdriver or a whiskey sour, and those are going to be crap anyway. Beyond that, they'd just say they don't know how to make it or don't have the right ingredients.
sounds about right.

Yep. But I'm not bothered by it much. Haven't been in a bar in a long while, and don't drink cocktails at all. But the film is definitely one of my favorite "B-grade", fun-to-watch movies. I'm actually surprised there hasn't been talk of a cheap remake! Hollywood will get around to recycling EVERYTHING eventually.
