I feel a seperate thread is needed in order for all us Cocktail viewers to express our thanks and congratulations to Charlie Boy. Entertaining us for over three years is certainly something. For the record, I love Cocktail - for it's 80s-ness, easy-viewing-ness, childhood memories, cheese and sillyness.

It's really still quite a bit of fun reading through that silly thread.

The review itself makes me cringe a bit. Quite a few poorly constructed sentences and paragraphs. I seem to recall having some kind of formatting issue pasting from Word to the IMDb boards, and it appears as though I was too lazy to correct quite a bit of it.

Anyway, Cocktail was a nice test run for the bad movie review concept I was so in love with. That particular thread was surprisingly helpful getting me through the door at somethingawful.com, which I realize sounds absurd, but there it is. I mostly write straightforward reviews these days, but I do enjoy getting the band back together every now and again for some bad movie chewing.

So, I have great affection for that weird little review and thread. I love all who liked or hated it/me.

The great man is back! I like the movie for what it is but found your review entertaining and laugh out loud hilarious

I see you only give The departed a 2006 thriller 3/10......tell us more as I gave it 10/10
