In the diner, when Meg joins Brian and tries talking to him, Fran comes to take an order and when she sees Brian is with another girl, she gives a look to him of sadness...I always took this as Fran had thought of Brian more than a friend, maybe there was some history between them before?
Did anyone else notice this look, and what do you think it meant?
Fran is like a big sister or mom to Brian. They have no romantic history. Plus Fran was looking forward to her date with the sheriff.
The only look I remember, was Fran glaring at Meg, like I'll beat this biotch down!! It happens when Fran brings Brian a sandwich, and Meg basically shrugs Fran off rather rudely, after Fran was nice enough to offer to fix Meg something too.
Or course, Fran had no idea, that Meg had just watched her date get devoured!
