The music at the end credit

Lovely!

The last track heard in the end credits is Brecht's "Bilbao Song," from HAPPY END. It is the same track heard during the 50th birthday party that Marion and Ken attend early on in the film, then heard again when Marion meets Hope in the antique shop, and then again when we learn of Marion's sad "discovery" during her lunch with Hope thereafter.

The song as we hear it is adapted to a classy, somber piano melody as played by Bernie Leighton (the pianist actually playing music at the 50th birthday party).

Though it's really just a rip of the film's monophonic audio, it's still out there as a downloadable mp3, and makes a lovely listen on its own.
