Who else cringed at Tetsuo's glass scene?

I mean when he pulled the glass from his foot when i watched this movie on video when i was 14 and cringed as i was like "Oh my god that must hurt like a mother *beep* He suffered badly like John McClane did the same year when this movie was released.

I cut my foot on broken glass when I was a kid. It was a tiny cut/slash but it hurt like hell, and bled like a pig when the shard was pulled out. My foot flinches whenever I see that scene.
