What Happened At The End?

EDITED TO SAY: Oops. I just seen a thread where people are asking questions about the movie. Didn't notice it when I made this post. Maybe I can find the answers there.

I saw this movie for the first time a week ago on Cartoon Network's Toonami. I always heard about it but I never knew what it was actually about. So, I finally got to see it. It is definitely an interesting movie. Pretty freakin' weird...but good.

But I've been trying to figure out the ending ever since I saw it. What exactly happened in the stadium? I did miss the very beginning of the movie and a few parts in between. So I'm not sure if I missed any important details that would explain what happened. I need some clarification! It's been bugging me ever since.
