Animation's answer to Die Hard and Robocop?
Same kind of adult r-rated action film that breaks ground.

You have a very myopic view of cinema.
The world does not revolve around white movies especially those really overrated ones that only people who live in the West and only watch Hollywood movies think is so great (e.g. Die Hard).
What a bizarre comment...I think the original post was rather weird as well--like come on, answer to Die Hard and Robocop? What?
Die Hard is a super fun action movie...but it is not anywhere near the best of it's genre, or even that very specific genre of movie. The Raid is, in my opinion, a far superior "trapped in a building" action film.
Robocop is a fantastic film as well, but I don't really see how it correlates to either Akira or Die Hard. It's not really an action film. It has action in it, but ehh that's not reaally the main thing it's playing with. Honestly, they seem like three totally seperate movies, in three different genres.
But your response to the post was very strange, and rather insulting to the OP pretty unnecessarily. Not sure what's got up your ass to instantly jump on someone like that.
