why did the first rapist rape her gently?

He was all slow. I thought most rape scenes in movies the rapists are thrusting all hard and fast like savages. I didnt even think it was possible for men to c-m going that slow.

So blame the victim?

Listen when she said, "no."

She never gave consent.

reply

[deleted]

Total malarkey. That is not consent.

Furthermore, consent can be withdrawn.

"You wanna go see a movie?"

"Yeah!"

*outside the theater*

"Changed my mind. I really don't want to see a movie now."

Or even *in the theater*

"This movie isn't what I had hoped for. I'm leaving."

Guess what...you don't have to do something if you don't want to and no one can force you to do it. Their rights end when they impose on your rights just as your rights end when they impose on someone else's rights.

No, that's the stupidest explanation ever. That's not natural. Violating another human being is not natural and not legal.

Even if she was being paid to dance at a strip club, that doesn't give anyone (man, woman, whatever) the right to sexually violate her. Being provocative does not equal consent. It's freedom of expression. It may not be the classiest form of expression, but she has the right to be that way.

You totally missed the point of the movie.

reply

Do you go molesting and r@ping people when you see a person dressed that way?
Oh I'm sorry, not really molesting and r@ping, since by your terms they've given their consent already and should just accept consequences.
So do you go having sexual intercourse when you see skutty dressed people on the street?

Shut the hell up barbaric moron lol.

He can't actually be serious saying things like this nowadays! Give men a bit more credit than to think they have no brains and no self control that they can't help but rape anyone who has a bit of flesh on display. Sure she was a tease and probably not the nicest person out there but she absolutely did not deserve that and to say she did is just pathetic. I also think her friend seriously let her down - if that was my friend behaving like that, I'd be keeping an eye on her

reply

He's not serious. He's a loser and a troll.

reply

Certainly a loser and a troll. And, of course, we hope he's not serious. However, as relates to this IMDb board, for myself it doesn't matter whether he's "serious" or not. Earlier in this thread he wrote,

She gave consent the moment she walked into that bar wearing that incredibly sexy mini skirt and very tight fitting crop top.
I went and looked up his posting history and that's his main thing: Talking about rape like it's no big deal and the women have it coming. I reported him to IMDb. As far as I'm concerned, he's plainly offensive (intentionally so) and his posts border on incitement. Imagine if it could be shown that someone who consistently read his posts went out and raped a girl. That *beep* can be traced through checking internet history, etc. I'm no lawyer, but I can't imagine that wouldn't get brought up in court one way or the other. Sad excuse for a human being. I know he gets off reading people's posts like the one I'm writing right now because he thinks it's funny. And that's fine. Because he will rot in hell soon enough...

reply

I wouldn't say that he was gentle. In fact, it was horrific.

reply

You're all morons. The OP was fishing for horrified reactions, and you all took the obvious bait.

reply

Most of the comments on this board are really sick.

reply

There is no such thing as "gentle rape."
