Probably as soon as the High School scenes hit. Winnie was finally getting over him and other guys were attracted to her, Kevin was no longer cute but just looking ugly and short. His brother and friends were picking on him, and the BIG thing was Paul took off.

Paul was always wimpier and the follower but as soon as Paul left he was killing it academic wise, didn't bitch and whine like Kevin, and was on varsity basketball. He was making new friends and while Kevin hated High School Paul loved his new school.

I still remember that line: "You're like the stuff swept out from under the refrigerator ya know?" Paul *thinking*, "Hmm, I like my new school." Walks off. That was when Kevin was full out loser. Then he kept pining for Winnie when he had other hot chicks available like Madeline and Winnie was just stringing him out to dry.

With the way Winnie and Paul moved on, you'd think Kevin would welcome Madeline with open arms, in addition to her being the hottest girl in the school.

He was not a nice person. People constantly mistake good looks for niceness. In reality, the hotter the person is, the colder they are inside.

Why is it so hard for people on the internet to spell "loser" correctly?
