Elizabeth Carmichael and The Dale car

This was the one about the lady who created that faux car, the Dale, scamming a lot of people out of their money. Then when they went searching for her they discovered she was born a male named Jerry Dean Michael, but changed his gender and became Liz Carmichael.

I remember when they caught her she was living in a small town called Dale, Texas, ironically, and she never had the genital surgery so she was placed in a men's jail. Which made me wonder what did she do with all of that money if not pay for a sex-change, at least.

Supposedly there is a documentary about her coming out later this year called 'The Rose Lady.' I think the title is because she was a flower vendor after she escaped the law.
