Gettysburg Ghosts - "Twilight Zone" Elevator

In the segment, there is a report that two ladies got into an elevator at their office building late in the evening to go home, and were trying to go to the First Floor. But the Elevator went to the basement instead. Apparently, this building was used as a field hospital during the Civil War, and when the door opened up, the women saw what they claim was the "Hospital" in action. Of course this scared them, and they tried pushing on the buttons to take them back up, and the elevator just sat there. Eventually this situation ended and they got out of the building, and reported the incident to security. They declined to appear for interviews for the segment.

Seems like something straight out of the "Twilight Zone"...

I used to work the night shift and weekends at a state government office building complex, and frequently walked from Parking Garages to my Office through underground tunnels and hallways with the buildings mostly empty, and with most of the lights off. There were two parking garages, one for my building and one for an older building. The older building was built with a lot of tile work lining the floor and hallways, much like those Insane Asylums you see in horror movies. Sometimes I had to park in the older garage and walk through the old building to get to where my office was. There were times I used to get a little bit creeped out walking around both buildings in semi darkness, but the older building was worse... Just a constant creepy vibe. (I always kept waiting to see ghosts, or see some psycho hospital doctor roaming the halls looking for his next victim... LOL!) Thankfully, I never did. And I certainly, never had any experiences like what happened in this segment...

Scary Stuff...

Good thing this elevator didn't take them back in time, and strand them there! LOL!
