Was this the series where the kids are exploring their fathers work laboratory only to get eaten by a GIANT Spider either in the elevator or hiding in the elevator shaft

that was an episode of the 1980s twilight zone tv series. the title of the episode was i believe called the elevator.

Yeah that was the Twighlight Zone remake in the 80's
