I never knew this!

I couldn't quite place the anouncer that says "Ladies and Gentlemen...Garfield and Friends!". Then I bought the boxed sets of "Laugh-In" episodes. I was shocked to find out that the voice at the beginning of this cartoon was Laugh-In's announcer Gary Owens!! Cool!!!

Owens: "From beautiful downtown Burbank..."
Lily Tomlin: (Walks by) "How do you do?"
Owens: "That's a fine how-do-you-do!"

You know.....I just realized that after I read that. I never saw Laugh-In, but I did see Gary Owens when he did a guest spot on That 70s Show, playing an announcer in Bob's fantasy about what happens now that Donna's on birth control.
Gary Owens: "And now, if you'll excuse me Mr. Pinciotti, it's my turn."
