I have never seen Garfield except for when I bought the " Garfield as Himself" DVD. They are supposed to be some tv specials. Is Garfield and Firends the same thing?

shareIt's a saturday morning cartoon series that ran from 1988-1995.
I personally think it is very good {and ranks amongst my favorites}.
The voices are the same, the animation is similar but its a different style. The cartoons are divided into 3 seperate 7 minute shorts.
If anything it reminds me of a lot of those old school warner brothers and disney cartoons.
I'd personally tell you to check it out, if you like Garfield and you liked the specials I'd be surprised if you didnt like the tv show.

What's "Firends?"
"Friends", you mean?
"Friends" refers to "U.S. Acres." Davis' other cartoon strip creation.
Not to mention the rest of the cast of "Garfield."

FYI, there also included some 1-minute long cartoon shorts called "Garfield Quickies" which, I believe were animated versions of Sunday comic strips.
shareWait I'm confused here I planed on buying the dvd of garfield and friends but are the specials like the halloween episode and thanks giving episode or are they part of the show?
